Eve rescued this little guy (she calls them “wee beedles”) from one of our rain water collection buckets. I couldn’t resist taking a couple of quick photographs before finding it a safe place in the garden.

From what I can tell, one of the approximately 140 chafer beetle species. Which is apparently it’s grub is a pest to grass…
