It’s a fresh year and the perfect time for change. I have been updating my website/blog over the last couple of days, new colours, new cover photo, updated the about me page to reflect who I am now and not who I was 10 years ago, removed ads but most excitedly, I have updated the name to “Becca Muir Photography” and I have a new signature.

Since the website/blog was created in 2012, it has been called “Becca McLachlan Photography” (which is my maiden name) but this week I have updated it as that is no longer a name I use.

I should have done it four years ago but I guess I thought it would be a bigger job than it has been. WordPress has made it super easy to swap over and even automatically updated the links within my website/blog.

Though the name and URL have changed, it is still the same special place for me to share my love of photography, my love of nature and all things beautiful and I am thankful you’re here on this journey with me.

I hope you enjoy my first photo with my new signature and name update. Every time I look at this same Echinacea bud there seems to be an insect of some sort hiding on it.
