Six days into 2017 and off to a good start here. Weather has been a bit wet and windy but everything is still looking beautiful.
I tried to capture this stunning Calla Lily in mid bloom today. The wind wasn’t helping at all, nor the lack of sun but I am happy with the outcome.

I had a great time visiting Amy for lunch/movies yesterday. She let me take some random photos so I could get one to use for my photo a day thing. I managed to get a nice one of Alvin but I got a few other beautiful ones. (Click here to see the rest of the gallery). 🙂 It helps that they’re all so beautifully photogenic!

2017 :)
2016 was a great year for me personally. I got to watch my brother get married, I was able to reconnect with my best friend (of coming up 14 years) and we are now closer than ever and I also purchased my first home. I was also blessed in many other ways too.
It was a busy year with work (extra jobs) and what not so I didn’t have a huge amount of time to spend on my photography or any thing else really but thankfully I anticipate having a lot more time to spend on it this year.
I have many plans for this year (not just for my photography) but for starters I hope to be able to achieve the photo a day thing I attempted in 2014. So to get the ball rolling, this is my first photograph for 2017 and also my image for January 1st 2017. (The gallery for the remaining days/months will be on the side menu)
Special thanks to Amy for helping me decide on the final features my new watermark. 🙂
And a huge thanks to all those who have always been there to support me in all aspects of my life. I wish you all the best for 2017, keep safe. xx

Kitten!!
Had the pleasure of photographing Frankie who is about 4 weeks old. Never done a photos with a kitten before and it was a bit challenging but luckily she was very beautiful and very photogenic. Can’t wait to do more in a couple of weeks! Thanks Amy! 🙂

Finally reached over 10,000 views (actually a little while ago but sadly I was too busy to notice) But I am super excited and hugely grateful to all of you who have taken the time to look at my photography!! A million thanks to everyone who has supported me over the years, you guys are awesome. It has been a long (sooo long) time since I updated anything on here but I have added a few newer photos today and hopefully I will be able to take photos more regularly soon.
