Last night at work while we weren’t there we were invaded by at least a dozen moths… I tried to take some photos of this little guy while he was napping on a towel. 🙂

I was bored last night so I made this gem chain decoration thing for my kitchen window. When the sun shines through in the morning it shines tiny rainbow spots of light everywhere, so pretty.

January 8th 2017 – Starling – Sturnus vulgaris Linnaeus

I put some broken up pieces of bread out for the birds today (which isn’t really anything unusual for me, they’re so cute that I cannot resist feeding them) and I thought maybe if I am quiet enough this time I might be able to snap a nice picture. Not long after I put the bread out, the sparrows and starlings were munching away on the bread, seemingly happy. Until a big flock of seagulls (like 10 of them) came swooping in to steal the food! Don’t think I have ever had seagulls in my backyard in any other house I have lived in. Crazy! hehe!
